What is CSU Your Future in Care 2026? A guide for prospective international students

An explanation of CSU’s free 2026 nursing, health and social work information event, its two city dates and what prospective students can learn from it.

Published: Updated:

Your Future in Care 2026 is a free student information event run by Charles Sturt University, with sessions in Melbourne and Sydney. Its subjects are nursing, health and social work. It gives prospective international students a chance to explore study options, discuss entry requirements and meet academics; parents are welcome too.

The name describes an event, not a qualification. Registering for it does not submit a course application or establish that an applicant meets a particular programme's requirements.

Where and when does it happen?

The Melbourne session is on 4 November 2026, at 222 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. The Sydney session follows on 5 November 2026, at 77 Berry Street, North Sydney NSW 2060.

The official programme includes Bachelor of Nursing, Master of Nursing, Master of Health and Master of Social Work. Those are the labels on the event timetable. The reminder email uses the full names Master of Health Professional Practice and Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying), alongside Master of Nursing.

Why can the course labels cause confusion?

A short session label helps people read a timetable, but it does not replace a course's formal name or entry criteria. When asking about a programme, use the full name and identify the campus you mean. The event announcement does not confirm that all programmes are taught in both locations.

There is also a practical timetable difference. Master of Nursing is listed at 5:00 pm–5:30 pm in Melbourne and 5:30 pm–6:00 pm in Sydney. Master of Health occupies the opposite slot. Choose a city before using those times to plan attendance.

How do you take part?

Use the official registration page. The CSU Sydney and Melbourne campus site identifies the campus operation. Bring questions about your current academic background and the study decision you are considering. Attendance provides information; it does not guarantee admission, professional registration or employment.
